Story

Strictly Come Prancing challenges 12 corporate couples from across Aberdeen,  to put themselves through 3 months of training to learn an individual and a group dance, all to be performed in a Strictly style showcase in front of 300+ people!

This year’s event takes place on Saturday the 30th of August at the Beach Ballroom.

All the money raised at this event will go directly to Aberlour Options in Bucksburn which provides a home from home for children with disabilities. Called ‘respite care’, these short breaks give mum and dad a chance to recuperate from their roles as carers, while their much loved child spends time with us. Aberlour have lots of fun with the children in their care, helping to give them a rich and varied life, full of fun and opportunities. It is an amazing service which I will visit and see the children and young people Strictly Come Prancing is benefiting directly.

If anything else, donate because I have to try to dance with a 6+ foot Fraser Durno and the fact he has to put up with a 5 foot, but very bossy, Keri Fraser!

Feel to contact us for information about how to come along on the night, otherwise any donation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! Wish us luck :)

Keri and Fraser :)

About the charity

1 in 4 children are living in poverty in Scotland. That isn’t right. Not all children are born with an equal chance. We know that by working together we will beat poverty and discrimination. With your help, we will reach more children and their families earlier, before it’s too late.
