This run on my "home turf" has always been a long term goal of mine, and when our Emma was taken from us, so unexpectedly - it took on a new poignancy. 

Our family like many, has been touched by Cancer's shadow, my Dad & my Grandad died from it.  My Mum, thankfully survived & my wife's youngest sister is currently battling against it. In fact, speak to anyone you know, and they will have a family member or friend who has been affected by it. So if together, we can raise some money towards ridding the world of this terrible disease, it's worth doing, which is why I chose to run for CRUK

Wish me luck - it's 30yrs since the last time I did anything this mad!
