2020 marks the 40th year of The Disabilities Trust, and we're asking you to help us celebrate by raising some vital funds

Story

The Disabilities trust is a fantastic charity I work for who rehabilitate and support people with Brain injury, autism and physical disability.  Our trust has just celebrated its 40th Year and I wanted to do something special complimenting others who have also contributed their time and effort to support our people.

Sailing is my past time and I love a great challenge.  The Fastnet yacht race is the largest yacht race in the world with 450 competitors in 2021. An epic race of 695 miles non stop from Isle of Wight to the Fastnet lighthouse (Southern Ireland) and back finishing in Cherbourg.  I will be taking part on a Yacht called www.catzero.org which is part of a Hull based youth charity which my £3200 entry fee also supports. 100% of all donations on this page will go to the disabilities trust charity.
