Between the 20 Dec 2020 & 1 April 2021 members of 1310 Flt deploying to Mali & some members of 27 Sqn in the UK will complete a 1 mile run & 103 press ups a day for 103 days. Initially it was just for 100 days, but we noticed it was only 3 days short of the RAF birthday so stretched it by another 3 days. That well known milestone of 103 year birthday...

If a day cannot be completed due to Ops, illness, other, then it will roll on to the next opportunity. In Mali due to extremes in temperatures running times have been subject to restrictions (a lot of early morning runs!).

You cannot 'load up' by completing 7 miles every Monday or do 2 miles and not go the following day. The spirit of the event is to go out every day. Every participant will keep a log of their daily exercise. Using your usual walk to work or with the dog to log steps which amount to 1 mile does not count! Get your sports gear on and get running! 

This is not restricted to 1310 Flt or 27 Sqn, please all get involved if you fancy forcing yourself to get outside for some exercise every day and raising money for a worthy charity that will help you or your loved ones when needed the most. Just remember to let me know so I can give you a shout out!
