Update 17/4/2010-Thank you all very much for your donations and I am pleased to say that Dom and I completed the walk on Friday in a fantastic time of 10 hours 58 mins.  It was a really tough challenge and at a number of points the thought that i could not let everyone down and it pulled me through. I have agreed £4£ with Barclays and therefore I will be handing over at least £600 to the Wildlife Trust that will really make a difference. Thank you. 

In an effort to get fit, lose a bit of weight, push myself to the limit, build on some friendships and make a difference for the Wildlife Trust I have decided to take on both of the 3 Peak walking challenges. The idea is to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks in April with Dom Woodall, that's 25 miles walking while climbing Peny-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all in 11 hours non stop. Now that's a good challenge for me!!    

Over the last few years I have been working with the Wildlife Trust and Nene Valley Ecology Group. While we are all too busy focussing on busy daily lives, they do great work with very little money protecting wildlife and retaining that balance of nature we need. I would like any money raised to help the local wildlife and open up reserves to the public.

So please dig deep and donate using this site. It make it so easy and takes the hassle out of the process making sure it is safe and secure and the maximum amount goes to where it should.

I am also planning to apply for the Barclays £4£ scheme. In which case, if successful I will be looking to double the amount you raise.
