We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hello,

Thank you for getting this far...if you're on my Justgiving page this probably means you're thinking about sponsoring me a few quid to get VERY breathless for about an hour next Sunday, 14th July!

Aside from being thrilled at your faith in my ability to run 10k in a half decent time, I'm also grateful that you'll be helping to support the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity.  I gave considerable thought as to which charity would really motivate me to train and get my (slightly less wobbly by now) arse in gear and in the end couldn't think of anything more important than giving hope and support to sick children and their families.

So, just in case you're thinking that a few ££s won't really make much odds I'm here to say - WRONG!  I pulled this off the GOSH website because it's important that you realise your fiver (or tenner if you're feeling flush!) will have direct impact.

'£5 - could buy a special neonatal mask, small and delicate enough to fit a new baby’s face.'

What possible better use for a fiver... :)

Seriously, thank you very much for donating - you are lovely!

I'm not that fast (yet) but I am determined, so if you've nothing else to do on Sunday 14th July around 9.30am and can face the crowds then come and yell some encouragment!

Kim x
