Story

I am taking part in the Brainathlon to raise money for Brain Research UK, Brain Tumour Research and Epilepsy Research UK.

I'm quite unfit and am currently taking anti convulsant medication that makes me tired and nauseous.  So this is a very big challenge for me right now which is why I need your support.

My daughter suffered from absence seizure epilepsy from 4 years of age, now all clear thankfully.

My nephew was recently diagnosed with juvenile epilepsy and is likely to suffer/ stay medicated for the rest of his life.

I suffer with pain in my head/face every day, believed to be caused by Trigeminal Neuralgia. I'm still not sure how this will be resolved.

There are many worse off than us three though. Research is vital to medicate or cure a wide range of neurological illnesses, many of which are truly life changing.  Please give a little if you can.
