Hi Guys.....so the running shoes are out of hibernation once again, and I am starting small before attempting at least two marathons in 2011.

On August Bank Holiday weekend 2010 I am running (although perhaps "running" is not an accurate description at this stage!) the Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon. 

I have decided to use this to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity who do some sterling work and can make a real difference to those who are suffering from cancer and also to their families.  To those of you who know me from MSE, you will know that a good friend, Taxi, is currently going through chemo.....running 13 miles is nothing compared to what she is currently going through, so I hope my running helps her, and others in her situation, in some small way.

Any money that you can give will be appreciated, however small the amount.
