Story

Every year the French Department runs a sponsored event. Over the last few weeks, we asked all pupils in Year 8 to research 50 questions about French culture, geography etc. Pupils sat the quiz this week and should get their scores shortly.  We would now like to encourage your child to collect funds for our chosen charity.

The Sparrow Schools Foundation was set up in the UK in 2000 to give financial and other help to Sparrow Schools in South Africa and to foster cultural links between students and children in the UK. The Foundation promotes the Educate-a-Child programme which finds sponsors who will give financial support to students at Sparrow and raises money to fund school facilities and specialist teachers. It provides teaching back-up in the form of experienced and graduate volunteers.
