Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We attempted to do the Skydive on 5th February, however due to the strong conditions the jump had to be postponed.
The jump is now taking place on Friday 25th March.
So Ian Salmon ''Kips'' is fast approaching the big 3 0 and to celebrate we're taking part in a sky dive on Saturday 5th February 2011.
The experience will no doubt be exhilarating and one we will never forget. To make the experience even greater we've decided to use the celebration to do some good and raise money for a fantastic cause.
We will be raising money for St. Luke's Hospice.
St Luke's Hospice is an independent charity increasingly reliant on donations from the community. They provide specialist Hospice Care free of charge to people in Harrow and North Brent regardless of their circumstances or background. They care for people who suffer with cancer and other serious progressive illnesses such as motor neurone disease and heart failure. The hospice enables them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness.
St Luke's recognises that coming to terms with a serious illness can be difficult and distressing. Everyone in the family can be affected, so Hospice Care in addition to offering patients support also embraces families and friends sustaining them through the illness and into bereavement.
The sky dive team consists of Andy Chapman, Charlotte Aitken Domenic Perrotta, Esther Markham, John Ferry, John Michaels, Kira Bailey Martin Ofume, Rik Salmon, Russell Myers and Sean Davis
Please support the very worthy cause by making any donations you can. All your donations will be greatly appreciated.
