As many of you may know, I’m not a runner. Until recently, I’ve only ever ran for a bus or last orders at the bar. My legs are not built for running, more weightlifting, so training for this run has been a challenge. It’s only 4 weeks before the half marathon and I’ve just set up this page as I wasn’t sure I could complete it (I didn’t want to let myself and everyone down and not make the finish).

This year I wanted to set myself a different kind of challenge and have decided I’d like to run a decent distance in memory of my wonderful Grandad who passed away from prostate cancer 5 years ago. Prostaid
– the charity I’m supporting – were amazing with both my grandparents in my Grandad’s final weeks and I’d like to give something back. So, I am asking for your help and appreciate every penny that you’re able to donate.
