On the first day of the summer holidays I will be setting off to complete The 96 miles of The West Highland Way with 3 of my colleagues. This walk will take us from Milngavie to Fort William and includes a few hills along the way.
We decided we would like to raise money for a children charity and we all knew of the great work CHAS does.
CHAS is the only charity in Scotland that provides vital hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
They offer care for the whole family in our two children’s hospices, Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch. They also run a homecare service called CHAS at Home helping families in their own homes across Scotland when they need it most.
They are currently supporting over 300 families, as well as a significant number of families who receive bereavement support.
