Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may have noticed that I am fundraising for 2 charities, the Alzheimer's Society (this page) and Help for Heroes (www.justgiving/Kirsty-Robertson1). I only intend to run one marathon and, whilst this will be an important personal achievement, I felt that it was also important to try to raise awareness and funds for both.

The first few months of training involved a lot of trudging through the snow, trying not to break anything!! Now, it feels positively summery and, amazingly, I am still in one piece! I can't remember a week or weekend which hasn't revolved around running and hopefully all the hard work will pay off. It has been tough at times, but I have tried to focus on how lucky I am to be able to do this in the first place and also how important the funds raised will be for my chosen charities. I would be very grateful for any support you can offer.
