In memory of Jack

In 2003, at the age of only 8 years old, Jack was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Then, in January 2004, approximately 6 months after diagnosis and despite a very brave battle, Jack passed away at home, cradled in his loving family’s arms.

Ty Hafan is a leading Welsh childrens charity which provides comfort, care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, along with their families. Through their vibrant hospice and diverse community programmes, they offer families short-break care and help them make the most of the time theyhave together; creating precious memories and ensuring a short life is a full life. And when a child is close to the end of their life, Ty Hafan becomes a familys safe haven, by their side during their most difficult time.
