We raise funds in memory of Evie Johnston to help families with poorly children.

Story

David and I have chosen to take part in this challenge again for a few reasons. The first is that this in an incredible charity, local to us and raising money for those in such vulnerable and frightening circumstances  💗 We completed this last year and, whilst we really felt it!, it was worth every minute.

Team Evie aims “to help sick children and their families who face similar circumstances and challenges to those faced by Evie and her family.

We hope that through all of the hard work we do together with our wonderful supporters that we can support a family  all the way through their journey. From the moment their child takes ill or is involved in an accident, during their time on the ward in hospital and then at home in the community we hope to provide support and items which make life a little easier.

For those parents whose child sadly passes away we provide a variety of bereavement support, when the time is right.”

We’ve also taken this as an opportunity to walk together. Walking is such a power self care tool and has a big impact on well-being of the mind and body. 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻

So come on, dig deep and help us to help all of those families now and in the future ❤️💚
