Our dear friend Leanne had shared her pregnancy journey with us, as is the norm these days on Facebook, but there was an extra special announcement: Leanne and Lee were expecting identical twin girls this August. Leanne's pregnancy progressed well and they were just two weeks away from welcoming their precious babies into the world. 

Due to a complication, Leanne was admitted to hospital earlier this week. Baby Chloe is making amazing progress in the Oliver Fisher baby unit at Medway Maritime Hospital, and she's getting stronger with each day. We are so sad to write that they have lost beautiful baby Holly. The devastation of losing a baby is an unimaginable pain that only those who have suffered must be able to fully understand. Our hearts are with them all.

If we can ask our wonderful family and friends to make a small donation to the pot, we would be so grateful. It would mean so much to Leanne and Lee knowing raised funds could support other families in their situation, and would be a chance for all the family to say a huge 'thank you' for the medical and emotional support they've received this week at Medway Maritime Hospital.

The smallest amount will make a difference at the moment. It will keep their spirits up and offers an immediate 'thank you' to all the staff. In the long run, we hope the pot will continue to grow by as many of us as possibly taking sponsored activities to raise money.

Leanne and Lee have chosen to split the funds between Oliver Fisher and raising money for another cold cot at the hospital. The cold cot has allowed the family to spend precious time with Holly this week. The use of these cribs when a baby is stillborn isn't guaranteed as there are so few funded. We hope you can help us support this wonderful family.
