We support seriously ill children to lead a positive and happy life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page. Run to the Beat is a Half Marathon on Sunday 27th September in the Docklands area of London. The "to the beat" part is that there is music along the way. Hopefully it's not compulsory to run in time to the music as some of us may be lacking a little in the rhythm department.

In any event, we're doing this for a very good cause which is Richard House Children's Hospice in London. It's a  hospice for children in East London which provides much needed support and comfort to children and their families in circumstances which are almost impossible to imagine.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure and can be made from outside the UK. (If you are otuside the UK and need to work out how much you are donating www.oanda.com has up to date currency rates).

Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So while we're trying to make the leap from running for a bus to running 13.1 miles please dig deep and donate now. We'll try and add some photos to the site once we've done it.

Many thanks for your support,

Belinda, Herbert and Tom
