We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

On 10.09.10, an unlikely group of adventurers will embark on a 180 mile cycle challenge never before attempted: they will go The Way of The Roses.

Representing the construction industry elite, their number includes engineers, planners, crane operators and surveyors. They have the skills to deliver multi-million pound projects - but can they make their way from Morcambe to Bridlington on 2 wheels in only 3 days?

Spurred on by your sponsorship, they will.

Flying in the face of potholes, saddle-sores and Ray H's map-reading skills(!), the annual Laing O'Rourke Cycle Challenge aims to raise at least £2400 for Cancer Research UK. Taking part are the cyclists named left, who will be kindly supported by Kevin Reed and Craig Capewell (carrying emergency supplies of deep heat and blister plasters!).

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page and make a donation. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us.

We'd be greatful if you would indicate which cyclist you are sponsoring in the comment box.

Thanks!
