Story

Hello and welcome to our just giving page!

Myself and Louise are proud to say we are "attempting" to run the London Marathon in April 2024 for a charity close to our hearts. Our chosen charity is Nerve Tumours UK.

This amazing charity not only helps thousands of people of all ages all around the country but has helped us personally after my Daughter with diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis when she was less than a year old.

NF1 is one of the most common neuro genetic conditions, that causes nerve tumours to grow where they shouldn’t among many other health complications. The “spelling mistake” in the gene is found on chromosome 17 and occurs in 1 in 2,500 of the population. There are approximately 25,000 people in the UK diagnosed with NF1.

Me and Louise are on a mission to not only train for and finish the marathon but to raise as much awareness and money as we can along the way for such a deserving charity so please please if you can help us in reaching our target, all donations big and small mean everything and are appreciated by us all.

Thank you so much for visiting our page.

Love

Lucy and Louise
