In 2009, Lafarge A&C UK signed a unique 3-year partnership with The Prince's Trust. The Trust  is a leading UK charity that gives practical and financial support to young people (ages 14 - 30) who want to get their lives back on track by helping them tackle their problems through training, education and employment.

 

As part of the Lafarge Group Health & Safety Month (June 2010), colleagues from across Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK – including Shared Services – have the opportunity to take part in The Prince's Trust 40,000 Steps Challenge. Every colleague who signs up will receive a free pedometer and be challenged to walk 40,000 steps between 21–27 June and raise at least £10 for The Prince's Trust.

 

If 1,000 colleagues sign up and each one raises at least £10, that's a whopping £10,000 we'll be able to donate to The Trust.
