We represent and support ICU staff to improve patient safety and save lives

Story

We will be saying goodbye to Barry O’Neill on February 25th and whilst we greatly appreciate flowers, we wanted to ensure we had also decided on a well-deserving charity for people to donate to in his honour

Sadly, Barry lost his battle to COVID-19/ Pneumonia, following a short but brutal illness across Christmas and into the New Year.

As a family, this has been a harrowing and devastating time but, we are unanimous in our gratitude to the efforts of the NHS staff in the ICU wards.

Barry was placed in an induced coma for two weeks; the NHS staff were entirely dedicated to fighting for his life. As a family, we were allowed the opportunity to say goodbye to him and we were completely traumatised by the sights we saw in the ICU wards.

Therefore, we feel is right to give back to the ICU staff who are enduring this hell everyday whilst trying to support the loved ones of their patients. We were moved by the compassion and dedication of the ICU staff and want to thank them for being true heroes.
