This October I am going to be running a 1/2 marathon to raise funds for the charity I work for, EveryChild, and yes, that means I have willingly signed up to run 20km in one go!

I need to do lots of training to get me ready for the run but I also really need your support to help motivate me along the way. So whether you can spare a little or a lot your contribution will be greatly appreciated not just by me but also by the children EveryChild supports around the world.

EveryChild is an international children’s charity and we have a special focus. We work with children who are growing up alone, without parents to care from them. There are many reasons why children around the world end up alone, sometimes they are orphaned or are forced from their homes because of abuse but often it is the result of poverty. Whatever the reason, without the protection of a family these children are extremely vulnerable.
