Event: Just Walk 2010, on 15 May 2010
We support people living with brain injury to give them the best quality of life

Story

I have successfully completed (on 15 May) the 10 km walk organised by "Just Walk" across the splendid (but a little bit hilly!) Sussex countryside starting from Goodwood Racecourse. It was a lovely Spring day and conditions were perfect! The evidence is in the 2 photos on this page!

Thank you very much all of you who have contributed in aid of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. The RHN is a charity which believes passionately that all people have the right to achieve their full human potential and enjoy the optimum possible quality of life; and its mission is to help those with severe disability due to neurological impairment achieve this goal. So I am so pleased that I succeeded both in enjoying the walk and in benefitting others who were not themselves able to be there.

About the charity

The RHN cares for people who have brain damage or a disease affecting their brain. People come to the RHN for many reasons, from a stroke to a traffic accident, or a disease. The RHN provides services and therapies to ensure people with neuro-disability can have the best quality of life possible.
