We offer a network of care to life limited & life threatened children

Story

Over the last 30 years, First Personnel Services plc has proudly supported local charities. Since our inception in 1979, we have donated over £2 million to good causes across the Midlands.  2010 has seen First Personnel commit to help promote and support Acorns Children’s Hospice along with our staff  agreeing to raise £28,000 to pay for a nurses salary for a year.

We have recently donated £10,000 to sponsor Acorns Midnight Walk and all of our staff our planning different fundraising events from marathons to car boot sales.

Acorns Childrens Hospice currently cares for over 600 life limited children and their families in the Midlands region providing specialist nursing and support services, a vital lifeline for those families who would face a much tougher challenge coping alone. These children are unlikely to reach adulthood as a cure for their condition cannot be found.

Acorns has three hospices in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester which are beautiful home from home environments  where children stay for short breaks, emergency and end of life care in comfortable surroundings. Acorns also has a community team who support the family 24-hours a day, seven days a week all across the Midlands.

First Personnel are unbelievably proud to support such a worthwhile local cause, and any donation you can make to help us reach our target would be greatly appreciated.
