Story

I am currently 11 and have just started my dream secondary, but 4 and a half years ago when I was 7 my beloved auntie Penny got dragged along by a spooked horse and broke her neck. She was running a livery and one of her clients hadn’t told my auntie that this horse was jumpy so when it happened it came as the worst thing I’d heard yet. She was in the spinal unit at Salisbury hospital for eight months and under intensive treatment.Eventually she went home and stayed permanently in a wheel chair , occasionally fainting. I did a five mile walk and raised 275 pounds for nsif. I was proud. So was she. Then on the 5th of July 2017 the day before my 10th birthday I came home, jolly, from Brownies  and had a good game of footy with my best friend. When she left I was sat down and told that my auntie had died. I was heart broken. At the tender age of 53 the best auntie in the whole of the world had passed away. My mum ( her close sister)will cry if she reads this because my auntie meant the world to her . As if that wasn’t enough a year later my mums friend passed away from cancer. Her two young boys ( the eldest one is one of my best friends) were completely heart broken. I don’t know if you saw on the news the eight year old boy who climbed the old man of hoy ( a sea stack) -  he is her youngest one & did it for his Mum and I’m doing this for my auntie. Please this means a lot to me. About 5 years ago I cut my hair and didn’t like it. Now I’m gonna do it again and donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust where my hair will be made into a wig for a child who has lost their own hair. I might not like it again but people will benefit from this and that matters more than anything else.
