Initially with a little persuasion from my sister I decided to run a half marathon. was the location and I signed up.

It only seems right to do this event for charity as I haven’t done anything like this before.

My charity is The Stroke Association.

The choice of charity came from Strokes affecting a few people in our family. A Stroke also caused the loss of a loved Aunty only last week. Strokes can be fatal and life altering.

The money raised will go to the Stroke association for them to continue to do the work they do in research and educating people along with supporting families that have been affected.

Every penny counts and any amount would be appreciated – I promise to put the photos online on my return so you can see how unfit I am – especially if that will help raise more funds.
