Too few homes are built in the UK every year, falling short of ambitious, but realistic, national targets. Helping to tackle the housing crisis is a fundamental company value for LendInvest and is a cause that underpins the purpose of our long-term CSR strategy.
This year, our employees voted for The House of St Barnabas as its charity of the year.
The House of St Barnabas is a charity pledging to break the cycle of homelessness and social exclusion in London. They run a social enterprise, a not-for-profit members’ club based in the heart of Soho, to help the people they support back into lasting paid work. Their Employment Academy offers accredited qualifications, on-site work experience, real job opportunities and mentoring. www.hosb.org.uk
