On 14 April 2019 members of Lily’s family are running the Brighton 10k. Team Lily consists of Dad Ed, Granny Tricia, Uncle Hugh and Aunty Amanda, Aunty Harriet, Uncle Nick and Aunty Mirja, Uncle Carlo and Aunty Kate and Great Uncle Eric. 

Lily joined us 12 weeks early in August 2018. After spending just over 12 weeks in the Whittington NICU and SCBU, with a short stint at Great Ormond Street in between, Lily came home 5 days after her due date. The first 3 months of Lily’s life were a worrying and difficult time for us all and we are so proud of how far Lily has come. We will be forever grateful to everyone at the unit for the care they provided Lily and the support and kindness they showed us. We want to help other premature babies and their families by raising money for Whittington Babies.

Whittington Babies supports the families of premature and sick babies at the Whittington Hospital making their stay as comfortable as possible. With the funds raised, Whittington Babies purchases equipment and provides additional services which improves the quality of life for the sick and premature babies in the unit and their families.
