£50 can fund a dedicated welfare rights advice session at your local GP surgery

£480 could pay for a course of one-to-one talking therapy

Hello all,

We have been getting ready for the Hackney Half Marathon on May 20th! We all work at City & Hackney Mind, so on a day to day basis, we see the amazing services this charity provides to support those struggling with their mental health.

City & Hackney Mind provides a free high quality service, offering holistic support to anybody who is experiencing problems with their mental health, and is living in Hackney or the City. They offer support in a wide range of ways, including providing: advocacy, advice and assistance around welfare rights, education classes, employment support and advice, peer-led groups, talking therapy, group based mental health support such as a Mindfulness course, as well as running workshops and talks in many different settings, such as schools and workplaces, about wellbeing and mental health awareness
