Hospices around the country are experiencing a huge demand for their, already much needed, end of life services due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I want to do something to fundraise for Blythe House Hospice which provides care and support for patients and families across the High Peak and parts of the Hope Valley. It's 24/7 Hospice at Home services enables patients with advanced illness to be cared for at home, and to die at home if that is their preference. This service is a lifeline for many people, in an area where many live up to an hour from the nearest hospital. The service is also a huge support to the NHS, reducing hospital admissions.
