Story
My beautiful daughter Caitlin passed away in October, aged six. After her service at Lichfield District Crematorium in Fradley we decided we wanted her to be remembered at the site with a rose bush or plant in her name. It was then that we were told about Violets in Bloom and the charity's aim to support bereaved parents, starting with a special children's memorial garden at the crematorium.
We have seen the plans and it looks beautiful. We want our Caitlin to be a part of the garden along with other children sadly taken too soon.
I am taking part in the charity's organised fun run on April 19 to help make the memorial garden a reality. I can't run and have never been able to manage more than a few metres, so this will be a real challenge. I am determined to run the whole course if I can.
