Story
I’m cycling through September to fundraise for The Tessa Jowell Foundation. Their ambition is that every person diagnosed with brain cancer in the UK can choose to access consistently excellent, specialist brain cancer services.
A cause that I feel so passionate about after losing my dad to this terrible disease last year. From the day of his diagnosis there was never a glimmer of hope that the outcome would be different. The foundation are working tirelessly to ensure every NHS brain cancer patient can access the latest and greatest treatment and care. What a difference this could make to so many. ❤️
So it’s time to put on my trainers, and the padded shorts, and commit to cycling a minimum of 250 miles during September. I will be riding a mixture of indoors and out. Here goes!
Will update my progress via Strava.
