Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I entered the St James's Place Triathalon on 3 October 2010 in St Albans - in support of Hope and Homes for Children - our The Little Gym sponsored charity.  Over the last 7 years, Hope and Homes for Children have raised over £1m by running this excellent event.

I did it!!

After all the rain on Saturday night I was expecting to get wet but it stayed dry for my cycle and run!

The swim was much harder than I thought, I forgot to breathe with the excitement of starting the race and struggled to get into a rhythm!   I sorted myself out for the rest of the race and was pleased to avoid stitch!!

Seeing my boys cheer me on at the finish as I received my medal made it all worth while.

My final time was 1hour 35minutes 56seconds!!

Angel and Neil Daimay won the party!! Well done!

Orphanages do not protect children. They harm them. We are working towards a day when every child can grow up in a loving family. There are millions of children across the world confined to loveless orphanages. Over 80% of them are not orphans. It doesn’t have to be this way.
