Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Following last year's success the Linehan's Lineouts have re-grouped and with the addition of several new members are taking to the Royal Parks of London as a tour de force of 45 people. These are corporate slots as the MNDA kindly stretched their allowance to enable us to enter one of the largest teams in the event. The team has been initially sponsored by two local businesses, Caliscon Calisthenics and Conditioning and Handy Haynes.

The training for the event is well underway. With the fastest anticipated time being 1hour 20minutes and some team members electing to walk there is a wide spectrum of aims for the team which should make for a very interesting race.

MNDA promotes global research into Motor Neurone Disease and provides support for people affected by the disease, their families and friends. They rely almost entirely on voluntary donations. Anyone who has worked with MNDA knows that they are truly a wonderful organisation.

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a beautiful course with fantastic crowd support and we hope to see as many of our supporters as possible there on the day to enjoy the atmosphere of this memorable event.

Best wishes

Linehan's Lineouts xx
