I am taking part in the Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race and would like to raise money for Autism Unlimited, if you'd like to sponsor me!

I am self-funding the race itself, and will be embarking on a programme of training to learn to sail before joining the race in 2024. I will be taking part in half of the race: Leg 5: The Asia-Pacific Challenge, Leg 6: The Mighty Pacific Leg, Leg 7: The USA Coast-to-Coast Leg and Leg 8: The Atlantic Homecoming Leg. 

Autism Unlimited is a cause really close to my heart as they have supported my youngest brother and our family for the past 15+ years. They were able to offer Stuart specialised education at Portfield School, when none was available from the local authority, which absolutely revolutionised his life and that of the rest of the family unit.

Stuart completed his educational years under the care of this fantastic charity, and has spent the years since using their adult services. The residential care home he lives in (Penny Farthing House) has a professional and caring staff that are phenomenal. They truly help Stuart reach what is his personal potential and successfully have a happy and fulfilled life.
