Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the memory of my wonderful cousin Georgia I have been raising money for Cystic Fibrosis through this page and other sponsorship.
On 24 July 2011 two friends and I undertook the Nottingham Outlaw Iron man distance Triathlon. My friend Mhairi swam 2.4miles in a fantastic 1hr17, I cycled 112miles in 6hrs 37 and our friend Rekha ran 26 miles in sweltering heat (3hrs51). Kev also finished his marathon section in a very good time.
Last year I did:
5 peaks in 5 day (60miles and ascended (and descended!) 5000m; Sherwood Pines Duathlon; Nothingham half-marathon; the C2C in 2 days; three Yorkshire peaks in 10 hours; I've completed the Fun in the Mud 10k adventure race in roughly 1hr 20mins and Kev, in his flappy chicken suit did the Manchester 10K in 52 minutes 38 second. Pretty impressive for a chicken.
Fund raising for Cystic Fibrosis (see below) is ongoing.
