Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Half Marathon page.

As some of you may know we succuessfully completed the half-marathon last year and raised an impressive £3,280 for the British Heart Foundation.

This year we are running for another worthy cause IMC or International Medical Corps.

The IMC is a global humanitarian non-profit organisation dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering by providing healthcare training, relief and development programs in countries like Afghanistan and Somalia.

By donating to the IMC you will be able to provide them with the resources they need to help restore crisis-affected communities around the world and help them towards self-reliance.

This year we are hoping to raise even more money so please give generously to this worthy cause, every donation is greatly appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

International Medical Corps is working to relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, disaster and disease by delivering vital healthcare services that focus on training, helping devastated populations return to self-reliance.
