We want all young people to have the chance to play, learn and develop through cricket.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale will be launching a fundraising UK Three Peaks challenge on Sat 29th May 2010. We are looking to raise money for 'Chance to Shine' charity which is a local based charity to the hotel. We have set a challenge to climb up and down the three highest peaks in UK (in one piece!) in under 24 hours!!

The Cricket Foundation launched Chance to shine in May 2005 and set out to bring competitive cricket - and its educational benefits - back to at least a third of the country’s state schools over a ten year period. Its aim is to recognise the power of cricket to help young people acquire important skills, values and attitudes for their future lives.

This challenge for most participants involved will be the most difficult challenge they have attempted and for that reason training needs to be taken seroiusly, and no more canteen lunches for Scott Catling!!

All donations will be greatly appreciated and I hope we can smash the target given for a fantastic charity.

Hopefully look forward to seeing someone at the finish line...

With the disruption that covid has caused to schooling, around 400,000 children missed out on the opportunity to take part in a school or Street project. This year, we need your help more than ever to ensure we can continue to support children with their mental, personal and social well-being.
