2011 is the year that I turn 50! To mark this event I am riding a bike from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Angkor Wat in Cambodia as part of a British charity called 'Women for Women.' The funds I raise along with all the other women in my group will go to training women scientists and medical research into the prevention diagnosis and treatment of a range of conditions that affect women and their babies. The bike ride involves covering more than 400km in 5 days so in addition to fundraising for this challenge I also have to train hard!

I am paying all my own fares and accomodation costs so that all donations made by you people will go straight to Women for Women so  please be generous!
