On August 20^th I will begin one of the toughest challenges of my life, attempting to climb to the summit of one of the highest mountains in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, in .  This will be no easy feat, with 6 days non-stop intensive treking through a variety of challenging landscapes and, of course, altitude sickness to contend with, I admit I’m getting more than a little nervous. 

I will be raising money on behalf of The Adolescent And Children's Trust (TACT).  TACT is the ’s largest charity provider of fostering and adoption services whose core work involves providing high quality and well supported fostering or adoptive families for children and young people in the care of local authorities. Working from offices across , and they are dedicated to providing creative, effective and outcome-focused services.  They also campaign on behalf of children and young people in care, carers and adoptive families.  I am paying all of my own tour costs, so every penny I raise will go straight to TACT.
