Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m a keen runner and as most of you know, I have competed in a vast no. of events up to Half Marathons. 

Throughout the  Covid-19 pandemic, I have participated in two further events with my registration fee going to the NHS. None of which were as challenging as this.

I last took part in the MSMW2017 during the late May bank holiday.  I decided to brave it again this year but unfortunately it had to be cancelled and turned in to a ‘virtual’ event. This means that runners can chose when and where they take part, keeping within the government guidelines, and completing the event by the 1st July 2020. 

Knowing that it would be challenging and having no supporters or other runners to push me along, I felt that I should turn to friends and family to motivate me by donating money to such a good cause.  Further information on the charity can be found on this page.

I am aiming to complete the event as follows: 

• 10 miles - 11th June
  
• 10 miles - 12th June
• 10k - 13th June

This is how the three runs would have been completed over the recent bank holiday weekend.                                        

I will of course post my results on this page as proof of completion and to help me with the motivation to keep going.
