In the words of Forrest Gump; 

"That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run...  From that day on, if I was goin' somewhere, I was runnin'!"

Not quite the way it came about for us ..... with 2 of the team facing a
mid-life crisis and 1 happy to support in the role of Chief Whip and stretcher bearer, what better way to spend a few months training and trying to raise funds for charity. 

Easier said than done but hopefully the funds we will raise will make up
for the blisters, sweat, aches and pains suffered in the process.

The Lancashire and South Cumbria Kidney Patients Association is a charity close to our hearts having seen and received first hand in our family the valuable support provided kidney patients, their carers and their family and friends across the Lancashire and South Cumbria area.
