This is for Dani, ('Jedi' Daniel Fagan-Bourgon) and his allies, his incredible family, the unstoppable force that never gave up in their mission to make their precious boy better.

Cancer won this fight, but it never had a chance to brag of its power. Dani was by far the braver and more resilient opponent, pushing through the bad days with such hope and determination and on the many great days, trampling all over his illness with vigour.

I feel privileged to have been impacted so greatly by Dani and this chapter of his life, for without it I would not have witnessed a love so raw and a will so powerful. A beautiful, smart, funny and charming boy that showed us all the true meaning of 'Living Life for the Moment'

To Dani, Maria, Mark, Oscar & Gavin, to my wonderful Mum, Isabel, Kayleigh, to all who have suffered at the hands of cancer and to others who continue to win another round, this is for you! On May 11th as I celebrate my turning 40, I will stand in the corner with all the amazing fighters. I will be shaving my hair off to honour Dani, to raise money for an incredible charity and to remember how lucky I am that I have the choice to do so, unlike so many people.
