Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, I DONT DO EXERCISE!!!!!   But, this year I have been persuaded to give the Great North Run a try and donate money to a very good cause. Im running in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind, in memory of my mum, who passed away Feb 09. She was blind, and very lucky to have the assistance of Amy, her guide dog, who has since retired to the care of my dad since my mums passing. She is now living a very, all too comfortable life. Please give generously to this worthy cause, as the more sponsors I get the more likely I am to start my training xx

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

MANY THANKS XXXX

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
