As some of you may already know cancer charities are something that are very close to my heart. I lost my Nan to cancer in 2008, who was also one of my best friends in the world. Ever since I have always wanted to do something to raise both money and awareness to help towards research and cancer sufferers.

On 9th April 2011 I shall be going on a 10 day trek to the Great Wall of China, along with my friend Lisa Willmore and fellower trekkers raising money in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign.

It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me. This is something that is going to be really tough for me, travelling around the world and taking on a very physically challenging task.

On a lighter note you may like to sponsor me for the fact that probably one of the highest maintenance people you know is going back to basics for 10 days...no make up, straighteners, hairdryers, tan, jewellery, the list goes on. I really will have to learn to slum it.
