I am running this half Marathon to raise awareness of Domestic Violence. Domestic Violence happens all the time behind closed doors and a lot of the time goes unreported. I am doing this run to not only raise as much money as I possibly can for this local charity but to make people aware that it is ok to report it.

I have chosen to run for Salford Women’s aid as I wanted to support a local charity. It was also very important to me to find a charity that supported both Men,Women and Children with Domestic Violence. 

Anyone who knows me knows that I do not do any form of exercise if I can help it, let alone run a Half Marathon! Although it will be a massive challenge for me, it is something that I feel very passionate about and is a subject that is very close to my heart.
