In April 2009, I received the devastating news that I had aggressive breast cancer. 18 months of operations and treatments followed and thankfully this year marks my 10th year of still being alive.

To celebrate, I am going out of my comfort zone and facing my fear of heights (and being grossly unfit) and am climbing the O2 in London. Alongside me will be my dearest friend Beccy Preston who never failed to love and support me through my darkest days, always listened and never judged me. I love her dearly for that, its only right she is right there with me when I struggle up on that massive roof!!

Raising money for the Rosemary Appeal means people can have their chemo in Newbury hospital rather than trekking all the way to Reading, which is absolutely no fun when you feel so rubbish.
