Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Let me spend few words on the charity I am supporting. Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) is a Scottish charity that provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
A children's hospice offers professional care, practical help and emotional support to the whole family usually from the day of acceptance, to the death of their child, and beyond.
Donating to CHAS through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
And about me:
I am not an experienced runner, having only started last September to go beyond the 15' run around the house. Since then I have set myself a first target of being able to complete alive the Inverness Half Marathon on 14th March. In fact I have managed to cross the finish line in 1h 51', surprising myself before my bored wife Rahsan forced to wait at the arrival with a heavy camera in one hand and the buggy in the other.
SO: I now have a much more important target and that is raising as much money as I can to help contributing to CHAS just cause. And I am going to run the Dunfermline Half Marathon in less than 1h 51' for that.
Please dig deep and donate now. Every penny will make me run faster.
