In July, 3 of us are cycling 500km over 4 days from London to Paris!!! The Macai team consists of Nigel Hawes, Riaan Shields and Richard Orford. Some of us are fitter than others but all of us up for the challenge. We have just over 4 months to get ready and that means plenty of weekends stuck in the saddle... ouch!   

We're doing this all in aid of Action Medical Research who are a leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children's lives through medical research. Almost everyone has been touched in some way by their ground-breaking work, like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine. 

Action Medical Research are on a mission to save and change children's lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures. Children are our future and anything we can do to make that future brighter and more positive has to be good.
