Story
On 26th August we are joining the This is My Hand 999 walk on the final leg of their 200 mile journey. We will be walking from Radley College to Didcot and are raising funds for the Mind Blue Light Programme.
Independent research shows that members of the emergency services are significantly more at risk of experiencing a mental health problem than the general population. Mind delivers the Blue Light Programme to provide mental health support for emergency services staff and volunteers from ambulance, fire, police and search and rescue services.
The Mind Blue Light Programme in Tyneside and Northumberland have agreed to take our donations and ring fence them for the Blue Light Programme.
Our emergency services deserve the best support in every area of their health and well-being. They are there for us when we need them the most, often in harrowing and extremely difficult circumstances. Now let us try and help them.
Thank you for your support.
